Lavinia's Larder is dedicated to producing a range of finely prepared tarts pies flans cakes and dishes to order, using where possible the best local seasonal produce available.
Having transferred my catering business from London to Kent I became aware of a whole range of primary ingredients that somehow had been lost in the 'supermarket mentality' of the metropolis and refound in the now abounding local 'farmers markets' providing fresh fish, game, fruit and vegetables, that are the very fundamentals of good traditional English cookery. Through my stall at two farmer's markets I have used 'Lavinia's Larder' to promote the practice of freshly cooked food made largely with the finest produce our county can provide.
